Happy Birthday Daddy!

It's Daddy's birthday this week, but we decided to celebrate on Saturday since we would all be off together. Kaylen and I decided, aside from a couple other tokens of our appreciation, that we would give him some homemade love! We made him a delicious "smiley face and fireworks" cake, decorated by Kaylen, and gave our first attempt at chocolate covered raisin clusters - he loved it all!

An outlet at last!

Sometimes there are just so many things you have to do, it's hard to find the time to do the things you want to do! I know, not an amazing epiphany, but its so true. I find I'm always putting off the things that I am yearning for, but I hope AugustToAutumn will be just what I need to put down my thoughts, share my creations and give me an outlet for self expression.
